This is to inform you that I could successfully pass a state Examination with regard to an attorney business on "Specific infringement suits" carried out on October 26, 2003. My successful result was announced on December 25, 2003, Christmas day.

This state Examination was conducted following a basic training course in the field of Civil Law and Civil Proceedings Act held by a law faculty of university and a subsequent training course held by Japan Patent Attorney Association (JPAA) in infringement suits for a patent right, utility model right, trademark right, and design right, as well as suits for a violation of unfair competition prevention law.

On January 27, 2004, the registration of the above-noted attorney business was added to the current individual patent attorney's registration in the JPAA. From this date, I have acquired a power of handling the above-noted business as a specific infringement suit attorney, in collaboration with an attorney at law.

I would sincerely do my best to settle such infringement suits, while at the same time sufficiently and accurately reflecting the fruit to a patent specification or the like, realizing a so-called intellectual creation cycle. Hereby, I believe that I will be able to highly contribute to your intellectual property business through such an attorney business and build a stronger relationship between your office and my office.
